Global leader in mobile living solutions Dometic has completed its second acquisition in the space of a week after entering an agreement to buy South African company Front Runner Vehicle Outfitters. 

Global provider of products such as roof racks, rooftop tents, storage products and load bars, Front Runner Vehicle Outfitters sells its products in four continents through its own B2C e-channels and through a network of more than 600 dealers. The Johannesburg-headquartered company reported net sales of US$ 35 million in the last fiscal year and currently has an estimated 320 full-time employees.

Dometic president and CEO Juan Vargues said: “I am pleased to welcome Front Runner Vehicle Outfitters and its employees to Dometic. With this acquisition we are strengthening our offering and distribution network for the outdoor market. Our strategy for profitable expansion in mobile living is built on a combination of organic and acquisitive growth. This is our fourth announced acquisition this year and our pipeline of potential future acquisitions remains strong.”
