Autoterm looks to greener future with environmental certificates

Air and liquid heating expert Autoterm is celebrating after the two factories of its products manufacturer Advers were awarded ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system certificates. The certificates were given to the Advers factories in Samara and Bezenchuk in Russia and mean that Autoterm’s customers and partners can be safe in the knowledge that the environmental standards set out in these certificates are being met by the company.

ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS) that an organization can use to enhance its environmental performance. ISO 14001:2015 is intended for use by an organization seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

A statement from Autoterm, said: “Taking care of our environment and preventing our companies from causing negative impacts on the environment, are two of the most important challenges facing businesses today. One of the biggest benefits of implementing an EMS is the recognition that comes with being among those businesses that care enough to reduce their environmental footprint.”

Each year, the standards that need to be met to receive these certificates grow, especially for large projects. Autoterm believes gaining them shows its commitment to growing its company in a sustainable way for the future.

Autoterm air and liquid heaters are popular choices on caravans and motorhomes around Europe and the company also excels in producing digital control panels for leisure vehicles.
