Bailey targets first timers with Phoenix+

British caravan expert Bailey of Bristol looks set to take advantage of the renewed interest in camping with the launch of a new range of family-friendly caravans at an affordable price range. The new Phoenix+ collection comprises six different layouts, each with a spacious and lightweight design, a raft of excellent features, and a top end of price of just £19,999. With recent research from the UK’s National Caravan Council showing that many UK holidaymakers have brought forward their future decision to buy caravans, the move to create an inexpensive, yet well-equipped collection seems a smart move by Bailey. The smallest model in the range is the Phoenix+ 420, a two-berth, single axle van that is packed with features including reimagined interior and exterior designs, low-level cupboard storage beneath the front chest, curved overhead locker doors with LED lighting, a redesigned stainless stell kitchen sink and drainer, wall-mounted kitchen worktop stand and ambient lighting in the front corners.

The largest model is the Phoenix+ 650, a five-berth, single axel van that includes many of the same features but is more geared towards a family with flexible sleeping arrangements. In general, the range has plenty of technology on board such as AL-KO stabiliser hitch, mood lighting, four-season all-weather sustainability with Truma Combi blown air heating, Thetford K-Series combined oven, grill and hob, Dometic 106-litre fridge and a generous amount of 230v power sockets and USB points.
