Carthago continues winning partnership with cyclist Tadej Pogacar

German motorhome brand Carthago is continuing its partnership with professional cyclist and two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar by supplying him with another first class motorhome to use during training and racing. The 23-year-old Slovenian is widely regarded as one of the top performers in world cycling at the moment and collected his new Carthago c-compactline motorhome from the company’s Slovenian factory in May – even taking part in a community bike ride with more than 200 of the facility’s employees.

Marcus Kern, chairman of the Carthago Management, said: “We are delighted that the top racing cyclist is relying on a top class motorhome from our company. Cycling and motorhomes have certain things in common: Hard training and precision work are required in order to produce top performance in both areas.”

Meanwhile Sandra Županec, managing director of Carthago d.o.o., added: “We are proud of the fact that Tadej Pogačar is staying on board as a part of the Carthago family. The outstanding popularity of this event with our employees on their weekend off is a good indication of the level of their identification with the top sportsman, who embodies the same values as the Carthago brand: team play, appreciation and trust.”

Why the c-compactline?

The Carthago c-compactline is similarly well-conditioned to the professional cyclist. With a main body width of just 2.12 metres, the A-class motorhome has a slim build and is light and energy-saving with its super-lightweight construction. Thanks to the AL-KO low frame, the fully fledged double floor and the high-stability main body from the Liner class, the c-compactline can also handle long and demanding stages.

Cyclists and their companions can relax in the comfortable lounge seating area, recharge their batteries with sustenance from the functional kitchen, take a shower in the practical washroom and recover in the sleeping area. There is plenty of room for bikes in the spacious rear garage. Clothing and equipment can be put into the large storage compartments in the living area and the double floor of the Carthago.
