IN DEPTH: What's new from Bailey for 2021?

As one of the United Kingdom’s biggest names in leisure vehicles, there’s always a high level of anticipation and excitement among the industry when Bailey of Bristol reveals new models. With its releases for the autumn of 2020, the company has not disappointed its legions of fans and admirers, with the introduction of a new Pegasus Grande SE caravan range, a limited edition Phoenix+ caravan range, and a versatile new motorhome: the Adamo. Plenty to go at, so what are the highlights of this latest wave of goodness from Bailey?

The right place to begin seems to be the Pegasus Grande SE. Available in six different layouts covering both single and twin axle options, this 8ft-wide caravan has a lot to offer campers of varying tastes and needs. Bailey claims these caravans feature an addition 25 per cent more interior space thanks to space-saving technology and either a G-shaped front lounge with sliding front dinette table, or a central U-shaped central dinette area with wall-mounted table. Despite this extra space and the large width of these caravans, they remain relatively lightweight thanks to Bailey’s patented Alu-Tech construction technology – an innovation that has benefitted the company’s products for the last 10 years.

Other technological advances in this collection include AL-KO ATC Trailer Control System, AL-KO AKS 3004 Stabiliser, a TRACKER Retrieve stolen vehicle recovery system, Truma Combi heating and hot system, a Truma 100-watt solar panel, Dometic 10-series 153-litre fridge-freezer, upgraded Bluetooth compatible system and plenty of USB charging points throughout the vans.

In terms of aesthetics, the Pegasus Grande SE caravans feature a new Light Oak furniture and a choice of either Goldhawk or Barbican fabrics, as well new Dove Grey GRP side walls on the outside with bespoke SE graphics.

Bailey of Bristol managing director Nick Howard said: “The introduction of the SE Edition brings an additional level of refinement to our most popular 8ft wide caravan range.

“Stylish new looks both inside and out make an already attractive caravan even better. Offering a unique set of spacious 8ft wide layouts in a great value for money package this new limited edition range provides enhanced levels of both comfort and practicality in equal measure.”
