Double delight for Truma

German air conditioning and RV component manufacturer Truma is celebrating after picking up two coveted awards for its innovation. The company has been honoured with the TOP100 Innovation Award for the fifth year in a row – an award which sees Truma ranked among the 100 most innovative small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Germany. Specifically, the award recognises Truma’s approach to innovative management – 120 different criteria were evaluated in the process: Does senior management promote new ideas and approaches? How does the company demonstrate a culture of innovation? How do they pursue innovation processes? The Vienna University of Economics determined Germany’s 100 most innovative companies from around 400 participants based on these aspects.

Alexander Wottrich, CEO of the Truma Group, said: “As an organization, we are very well positioned to develop systems and solutions fit for the future. We are making greater use of data, working in line with agile methods and including our customers from the word go. What’s more, our new Innovation Lab nexT is certainly lending its expertise.”

The award is the second that Truma has received in a short space of time after it was awarded the European Innovation Award for 2021 from DoldeMedien Verlag, as voted for by 17 European RV magazines. Read more in our first issue here.
