Fendt-Caravan announces cooperation with online booking platform AlpacaCamping

Leading German caravan manufacturer Fendt-Caravan has announced a new cooperation with booking platform AlpacaCamping, a relatively young company which is revolutionising the camping market in the country by helping people access camping spots close to nature and create unique camping experiences.

Founded just over a year ago by Steffen Drews, Simon Illner, Christopher Feuerlein and Dominik Quambusch, AlpacaCamping aims to offer a new kind of camping and promote sustaibable regional tourism with their booking platform where farms, wine growers, private individuals, associations, and municipalities can offer unused land areas for camping. Furthermore, new pitch capacities are created so that overcrowded campsites can be relieved. Anyone can create a free user account at AlpacaCamping and become a guest or host. Free spaces can be offered as pitch advertisements on www.AlpacaCamping.de for camping guests. The price per night is set individually by each provider. Those looking for a pitch can then book the pitch for the desired period of time with just a few clicks and pay conveniently online. No booking request is necessary for this, it can be booked several weeks in advance but also a few minutes before arrival at the respective pitch.

Fendt-Caravan marketing manager, Thomas Kamm, said: “As a manufacturer of leisure vehicles, we naturally always have the issue of pitch capacity in mind. For this reason, Fendt-Caravan is now supporting AlpacaCamping in their vision to provide every caravaner with as pleasant a camping experience as possible.
