High-profile name returns to First Camp board

High-profile name in the camping and travel industry, Eivor Andersson, is returning to the board of directors at Scandinavian campsite chain First Camp after a break. Eivor was first elected as a board member of the Swedish company back in 2019 but left in March 2021 to avoid a conflict in interest due to United Camping’s investment in Grönklittsgruppen AB (publ). In July 2021, United Camping acquired Svenska Campingpärlor AB, which was Grönklittsgruppen’s camping division with nine destinations in Sweden.

Following United Camping’s divestment of its stake in Grönklittsgruppen, Eivor Andersson has now chosen to return to the Board of First Camp Group AB as well as to the Board of its parent company United Camping Holding AB.

She said: ”First Camp is a very exciting company, and has taken a position as the clear market-leader in the camping industry in Scandinavia during the past few years. This is a board assignment I’ve been keen to prioritise. Also going forward, the company has an ambitious agenda and I really look forward to being part of the journey together with the rest of the Board and the management team.”
