German recreational vehicle company Hymer GmbH & Co has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Markus Dorner as its Commercial Director.

Markus brings a wealth of industry experience having previously worked in the controlling department of fellow Erwin Hymer Group brand Dethleffs. His role as commercial director of the Entry Segment in 2012 was particularly of note – having made a huge contribution towards the growth of this highly successful segment of the company.

Markus said: “After many years and various exciting roles within the Erwin Hymer Group, I’m really looking forward to joining the core brand of the EHG. My aim is to increase the huge potential and success of the company even further by pursuing a profitable strategy for growth.”

In his new role he will be responsible for the finance and accounting, controlling, IT and HR departments, and alongside president of sales Christian Bauer and president of technology Hans-Georg Rauh, he will be steering the overall direction of the business.
