Hymer targets sporty campervan market with its latest evolution

The days of motorhomes being white boxes on wheels are numbered. As younger demographics are attracted to the world of caravanning and leisure vehicles, so the brands within those marketplaces react to give their changing customers what they want. A poignant case in point is the new Hymer Free S Blue Evolution campervan recently revealed by the German motorhome giant. This new sporty special edition is based on the front-wheel-drive Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for the first time and features a striking vibrant blue paintjob, along with a huge array of premium features and installations that give it extra appeal.

The van’s 9-speed automatic transmission, electric parking brake and reversing camera all work in conjunction with numerous driving assistance systems to create a driving experience that is designed for comfort. The van also features the Mercedes-Benz MBUX 10" multimedia system.

In the living space, the van features an integrated pop-top roof with double bed, a spacious and easy-to-fold-up double bed in the rear, stylish furniture finishd in Kitami fabric, white overhead locker doors, and even an included utensils bag features Blue Evolution branding.

Hymer says that the Free S Blue Evolution is the perfect companion for an adventurous camping holiday, and you can certainly see that with the overall design and features of the van. Another brand that is focusing on the things you do while on a camping holiday, rather than just the camping itself.
