Inaugural National Camping Show postponed until May

A new consumer camping show planned for March has been postponed. Ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in the UK have seen the National Camping Show pushed back to 20 to 23 May 2021, when organisers hope it will coincide with the long-awaited start of the new camping season.

More than 1,000 visitors have already registered to attend the inaugural show which will take place at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire. Leading brands including Campingaz, Coleman, Dometic, Kampa, Outwell, Regatta, Vango and Zempire have also confirmed their attendance. Visitors will be able to explore new ranges of tents as well as awnings, trailer tents, campervans, furniture and accessories, all on display outdoors, as well as purchasing products ready for a summer of camping.

A statement to registered attendees from organisers said: "As you would expect, we have been closely monitoring government COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, and it is looking highly unlikely that the current restrictions will be relaxed enough by March to enable us to stage the show. Therefore, we have decided to postpone the event to the 20 to 23 May 2021, when we are expecting that the restrictions will be eased, allowing us to host the show outdoors at Stoneleigh Park. We are very much looking forward to welcoming you in May. There is no need to re-register but if the new dates are not convenient for you, we would be very grateful if you could let us know to ensure we can allow other visitors to attend."

Admission to the National Camping Show is free but organisers recommend pre-registering here as numbers on site may need to be limited to allow for social distancing. The latest list of exhibitors and floor plan is also available from the show website.
