Danish awning expert Isabella has revealed a brand-new freestanding air awning specifically designed for campervans and small motorhomes that will be shown for the first time at the UK’s Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show.

The new Isabella Air X-Tension awning lets campervan users expand their living area by 8.25sqm with plenty of headroom and the option to zip out two of the sides to transform it into a sun canopy with fixed screen panel.

The awning boasts quick set-up and pack-down times thanks to its air tubes that feature a single inflation point. The awning can easily be detached from a campervan or motorhome and left standing while you drive away – making it easy to use on longer camping trips.

There will be two versions of the Isabella Air X-Tension, one for the Volkswagen California and one for other vans including Citroen Spacetourer, Opel Zafira, Peugeot Traveller, Toyota ProAce Verso, Crosscamp, Citroen Yellow Camper, Pössl Campster, and  Pössl Venster.

You will be able to see the Isabella Air X-Tension for yourself at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham this month.
