Keynote speakers announced for Australian caravan industry National Conference

A star-studded list of keynote speakers has been announced for the fast-approaching National Conference, hosted by the Caravan Industry Association of Australia in Gold Coast, Queensland. The event takes place at the RACV Royal Pines resort from 30 March to 1 April, 2022, and will include a golf day, three social functions, a rock concert, as well as a broad range of speakers covering topics such as caravan park insurance, cyber security, mental health, Caravan 2030, consumer reviews, global supply chains, and employment.

 

The keynote speaker lineup now includes the following:

Michael Crossland – after defying the odds and beating life-threatening cancer, this exceptional young man is now an accomplished businessman, Australian of the Year finalist, national ambassador for five different charities, and international Hall of Fame inductee. Michael’s talk will be powerful, moving and inspirational.

Martina Jewell – Martina brings great lessons of leadership, resilience and seeing change as an opportunity, drawing on the experiences she has gained when earning military accolades in some of the toughest environments on earth. She is a transformative leader who provides life-changing perspective.

Gus Balbontin – By the age of 22 Gus had dropped out of uni, hitchhiked South America, set up his first business and landed his dream job at Lonely Planet. Fast forward a few more years and he was leading the company globally, working with companies such as Google X, Nokia and Amazon on the latest technology, creative cultures and high performing teams. He’ll help you focus on what you can control to deal with the future.

Bernard Salt AM – widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading social commentators by business, the media and the broader community, Bernard heads The Demographics Group which provides advice on demographic, consumer and social trends for business. Prior to that Bernard founded KPMG Demographics.  

Mark McKeon – Mark conducts keynotes and workshops on Sustainable Peak Performance Resilience, Leadership and High Performance Teams. Mark specializes in Personal Productivity, Leading and Dealing with others in challenging times and creating High Performance Culture. Mark was High Performance Coach at Collingwood in AFL for 15 years. Acted as club’s Runner for AFL 250 games.
