Knaus Tabbert begins expansion of Jandelsbrunn site

Germany leisure vehicle giant Knaus Tabbert has begun building a new production facility at its headquarters in Jandelsbrunn, Germany as part of a wider investment program to help it achieve its medium and long-term targets. The €50 million facility will offer a significant 21,500sqm expansion of Knaus Tabbert’s manufacturing capabilities at the site and will help the company achieve its aim of increasing sales from around €800 million presently to €2 billion by 2025.

Werner Vaterl, COO of Knaus Tabbert, said: “We are investing in the future of tomorrow. The new building at our main location is a decisive step in our investment program and an important contribution to the future development of our company. 

“We are responding to the great demand for leisure vehicles in Europe and the new challenges posed by sustainability and digitization. The expansion of our capacities with this state-of-the-art production for bodies allows the integration of new, innovative technologies and trends. Leisure vehicles become will become lighter, more efficient and more sustainable and we will be able to offer better solutions for this in the future.”

The new production hall is expected to be completed by Knaus Tabbert’s fourth fiscal quarter of 2022 and will produce side walls, rooves, floors and front and rear parts.
