Nikwax boosts presence in North America

Cleaning and waterproofing products expert Nikwax has strengthened its commitment to the North American market with the opening of a brand-new office in Seattle, Washington, USA. The new headquarters gives Nikwax a larger facility in North America and will allow it to continue on its path towards growth while prioritising sustainability. The building will use 100 per cent renewable energy, features rooftop solar panels, has a sustainably harvested wood construction and a rooftop succulent garden to absorb 30 per cent of the building’s water runoff. Internal system improvements also mean that less paper waster will be generated, with the ultimate aim to reach 90 per cent paper-free processes.

“In addition to aligning with our brand values, the new space will provide a reset button for our employees when we’re able to come back to the office full-time,” said Brian Davidson, Nikwax North America’s president. “We hope the improved office experience will offer new inspiration for supporting our customers and company growth plans with its natural lighting, outdoor space, plethora of plants, and updated systems. Our retail partners have gone through a lot this year and we look forward to continuing to support them by providing a product line and brand with broad consumer appeal, and delivering high margin products that help their customers stay outdoors longer.”

The larger space provides room for expansion as Nikwax deepens its commitment to the North American market, continuing to be a trusted partner to its retailers and the outdoor enthusiasts who want to ensure their adventure gear and apparel last for many years. Nikwax is well-known for its products that help safely clean, waterproof and treat outdoor gear such as clothing, tents and other products.
