Professional cyclist Tadej Pogačar joins the Carthago family

Staff at the Slovenian subsidiary company of leading European leisure vehicle brand Carthago had the pleasure of receiving a top level professional cyclist at their workplace this week when Tadej Pogačar came to collect his new base camp motorhome from the company. The 22-year-old Slovenian star is the current reigning champion of the world’s most famous bike race the Tour de France and will be using a Carthago c-compactline I 141 LE motorhome as his mobile home when racing and between races.

Following an official welcome from Carthago d.o.o. managing director Sandra Županec, Ivan Markoja, the mayor of Odranci, congratulated the young athlete and handed him a personal lucky charm. The obligatory contract signing then took place. In spite of his busy schedule, Tadej Pogačar insisted on taking a tour of the production area and seeing the quality of the premium motorhomes for himself. The final handover of the keys to the professional athlete was suitably accompanied by the official Carthago song. Tadej was blown away by the warm welcome and by his new motorhome, stating: “I am delighted to now be a part of the Carthago family.”

Why the c-compactline I?

The A-class motorhome is slim and well-conditioned and just as designed for lightweight construction as Tadej’s racing bikes. Inside, he will be able to relax in the lounge seating group and enjoy refreshment from the functional kitchen, take a shower in the practical Vario swivelling washroom and recover in the single beds in the sleeping area. There is plenty of room for bikes in the rear garage, which is accessible from both sides. Clothing and equipment can be put into the large storage compartments in the living area and the double floor of the Carthago.
