A refresh from Rapido for 2021

French motorhome brand Rapido has revealed a new V65 XL Class B van to enter its range as the big sister to its already popular V55. Built on the ever-reliable Fiat Ducato H3 chassis (available with several new modern paint jobs), the van features a jack-assisted drop-down bed within its 2.88m height. This double bed cleverly complements the full-width rear double bed and increases the sleeping capacity of this vehicle to four adults.

Other smart features of the van include a stand-alone, central bathroom, MODUL’SPACE patented wardrobe system and a wraparound L-shaped living room. In the kitchen, you’ll find an overhanging two-hob screen cover, generous stainless steel sink and 135l fridge. The interior features a new Bellagio style that replaces the existing Castello, while Nacarat furniture replaces Elegance. This gives end users the choice between contemporary or traditional warm styles. The bathroom in the V65 XL has been overhauled to feature a partition that swivels to create fully separated toilet and shower areas.

Rapido has also revealed a new trim level available on six of its models that it claims is its finest package yet. The new Ultimate Line finish is available on the 666F, 686F, 696F, 8066dF, 8086dF and 8096dF motorhomes and features a new exterior look with light alloy FIAT rims and the option of a stylish metallic iron grey cab colour.

Inside is where the Ultimate Line really comes into its own – you will find special limited edition embroidered seats, new TEP upholstery, living room and bedroom skylights and a new fabric-covered backlit headboard at the rear. All models also feature a dimmer so you can adjust the indirect lighting in the living room and bedroom. The Ultimate Line motorhomes will also be fitted with Truma Combi 6 EH (gas and electricity) heating as well as CP PLUS control panel and iNet.
