Leading American camping brands Sierra Designs and Kelty will now be distributed in Germany by Stadler Sports, an agency set up by experienced outdoor industry pro Lars Stadler. Stadler Sports already handles brands including Exped, Crazy Idea, Darn Tough and Super Yellow, and its founder Lars has almost 20 years of experience in the outdoor industry to lean on.

Damon Street, European general manager for Sierra and Kelty’s parent company Exxel Outdoors, said: “We’re very happy to welcome Lars and Stadler Sports to the team. We've invested in a warehouse facility in mainland Europe. Stock is arriving and we're already shipping, so it’s time to grow the Team.

“Alizes Montagne, France are already doing a great job and we'll have more announcements to follow as we build our European Operations.”

Between them, the two brands cover camping in many of its guises including lightweight backpacking, hike camping and also family camping too.
