SuperSprings International enjoys record-breaking growth in 2021

Leading RV and truck suspension brand SuperSprings International (SSI) has reported record-breaking 42 per cent growth for 2021, as the California-based company’s upward curve shows no signs of slowing. Under the stewardship of chief commercial officer Adam Weisner and chief executive officer Gerry Lamberti, SSI has now reported record-breaking growth for three years in a row.

How did they do it?

“Back in 2019 when revamping the marketing strategy, we believed that if we built a quality brand and focused on awareness we could increase sales across all channels,” explained Adam Weisner.

“In 2021, we became the most followed suspension brand in our category. On Instagram we have more than 60,000 followers and we had more than 36 million impressions in 2021. On TikTok we amassed more than 70,000 followers, 700,000 likes and have videos with more than 13 million views. The result of that drive for awareness was growth across all our customer categories and channels. Our aim is to become the best-known suspension brand in the world.”

As well as this sharp focus on marketing, the heart of SuperSprings International is innovative products, a category in which we can expect to see additions in 2022. Gerry Lamberti said: “Innovation is our greatest asset. While leveraging SSI’s expertise with our USA-made components, we continually broaden our array of suspension product lines by identifying, then satisfying, niche market needs. This is born from the great relationships that we foster with our customers.”

Powerful partnerships

Another key attribute to the success of SSI is its focus on strategic partnerships with like-minded, industry-leading companies and brands. The company has forged new partnerships with the likes of huge RV dealer United RV, as well as growing and strengthening existing partnerships, like adding its products to Coachmen Class C and Winnebago Class A motorhomes as standard equipment.

“Partnering with the best distributors in the world continues to be a big focus for the company,” Adam said. “In 2021, we saw rapid growth in this channel. Our distributor customers grew at a record pace, with our top customers growing more than 100 per cent year-over-year.”

Having a big presence at shows and events has also helped with these partnerships. The company made waves at the Florida RV Super Show with a new trade show booth featuring a video wall, and has also been present at European shows such as Caravaning Salon in Barcelona, Spain. You can expect to see SSI at the NTEA Work Truck Show in March and SEMA show in November.

Not standing still

Despite the impressive results of the last three years, there’s no hint of complacency at SSI. Under its new leadership structure, the company has five well-defined business units, each obsessed with the being the very best in its field. These units report to Adam Weisner, who in turn reports to chairman and CEO Gerry Lamberti.

“2021 was a record year in the face of many challenges. Our team stepped up to the plate and delivered incredible results. We’ve focused on having the right people in the right seats and we expect 2022 to be another banner year,” concluded Gerry.
