Thor Industries proves its sustainability credentials with new report

RV giant Thor Industries has published its fourth annual sustainability report detailing the company’s industry leading sustainability efforts across the globe during 2021.

The report highlights key activities undertaken by Thor Industries companies as to how they are aiming to promote a clean and safe environment through responsible and sustainable business practices. Highlights include steps toward achieving 50 per cent reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions, THOR-owned company Erwin Hymer Group becoming a carbon net-neutral manufacturer, Thor’s completion of the Carbon Disclosure Project Carbon & Climate Questionnaire, the renaming of Thor’s Governance and Nomination Committee to the Environmental, Social and Governance and Nomination Committee, the appointment of the company’s first every chief innovation officer, and the foundation of the Together Outdoors Coalition, which aims to make the outdoors a more diversified, inclusive and inviting place.
