Truma expands European distribution for its popular cooler

Campers around Europe will now find it much easier to get hold of the hugely popular Truma Cooler thanks to an expansion in the European distribution network for the product. The high-tech cooler was previously only available in German-speaking regions of Europe via specialist trade partners, but from 2022 onwards it will be available at selected wholesalers throughout Europe with the sales of portable fried/freezers extended to Italy, France, Sweden, Denmark, Poland, Greece, Turkey and the Benelux.

Truma product manager, Jan-Peter Albers, said: “Since its market launch in August 2020, the Truma Cooler has become a real best seller in our range. The most exciting part for us is that the fridge/freezer has been bought by people who are not campers. We are now extending our sales to be able to directly meet international demand in a swifter manner.”

What’s cool about the Truma Cooler?

Featuring a powerful compressor and high-quality insulation, the Truma Cooler can ensure constant temperatures from 10C down to -22C. The range also features Dual Zone modules that allow users to maintain two different temperature zones within one cooler. It runs in low-noise operation over long periods and is incredibly durable thanks to reinforced corners, stainless steel hinges and strong materials. The cooler can be powered by four different energy sources: a vehicle battery, a combination of battery and solar module, the 230V mains power port or the Truma Cooler Battery Pack. Best of all, users can control the cooler via a smartphone with Bluetooth connection. There are eight different sizes in the range covering 30 to 140 litres, while all models also feature USB connection for charging portable devices on the campsite.
