One of the UK’s biggest camping and leisure vehicle exhibitions, the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show, is set to return to action this February, marking the kick-off for the 2022 camping season. Taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from 22 to 27 February, the show brings together more than 350 exhibitor stands showcasing the latest campervans, motorhomes, touring caravans, holiday caravans, luxury lodges, tents and accessories.

Anthony Trevelyan, chairman of show organiser NCC Events, said: “The past 18 months has seen an extraordinary increase in interest and demand for leisure vehicles. The motorhome and campervan market grew 39% during the period of June 2020 – July 2021 as consumers appreciated the benefits of ‘staycationing’ in these versatile and COVID safe, holiday bubbles. The show will satisfy the practical needs of these new entrants as well as those already enjoying the benefits of the lifestyle.”

The growth and change of the UK’s camping market will be fully evident at the show with around 50 per cent more campervan models set to be displayed, proof that the UK too is experiencing the same ‘van life’ movement as in Europe.
