UK's Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show postponed

The 2021 edition of the UK’s hugely popular Caravan, Camping and Motorhome show has been postponed in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the latest guideline announcements from the country’s Government.

The public show, which had been due to take place at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in the city of Birmingham from 23-28 February 2021, usually attracts in excess of 90,000 visitors.

“Whilst the trajectory of the COVID-19 virus is still very much unknown, it is clear that the restrictions – and their impact upon businesses – are likely to be in place for up to six months,” said John Lally, the CEO of show organiser NCC Events.

“We do not take this action lightly, but at this time, we feel that it is the only sensible option to safeguard show partners, exhibitors and our visitors from the financial exposure of a late show cancellation.

“The team is extremely disappointed as they have done everything they can to prepare a COVID secure floor plan, ensuring that both exhibitors and visitors would have a safe environment. We want to thank all our partners, clubs, exhibitors, visitors and suppliers who have supported our endeavours to plan for this important industry show. We understand that this decision will be a disappointment to many people who, following the cancellation of the October show, have been eagerly awaiting our February 2021 event.”

The new proposed dates for the event are 22-27 February 2022, and NCC Events will be working closely with exhibitors, partners and industry experts to ensure a safe, enjoyable and prosperous show for these dates.
