Big Agnes strengthens with key hires and promotions

American camping and outdoors brand Big Agnes has announced it has hired a new director of product design as well as confirming four major promotions within its team. Jim Trombly joins the company as it’s the director of product design and brings 23 years of experience in the outdoor industry working with the likes of Mountain Safety Research (MSR), Thermarest, Sierra Designs, and Patagonia.

Jim said: “It is exciting to become part of the Big Agnes family and relocate to the mountains. I have a passion for the outdoors and the products that compliment being out there, so earning an opportunity to work with such a well-known and driven brand like Big Agnes made for an easy decision.”

In addition to hiring Jim Trombly, Big Agnes has confirmed a number of significant promotions within its workforce to help reflect their achievements and the overall growth. Esther Drebelbis, who previously held the position of marketing specialist has been promoted to brand manager. Kayt Gary has held several positions in the accounting department and has been promoted to director of finance. Katie Hughes, previously senior brand manager, has been promoted to director of marketing. Alex Geller, formerly global operations manager, has been elevated to director of operations.
