Dutch company Campfire Group, which owns brands Holtkamper and Easy Caravanning is looking forward to an exhibition on home soil this October. The company will be exhibiting at the Camping & Caravan Jaarbeurs show in Utrecht from 6 to 10 October and is looking forward to letting Dutch consumers get up-close and personal with its award-winning products after the 2020 edition of the show was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Campfire Group managing director Maarten de Roos (pictured above) said: “In 2020, the fair on home soil, which is so important to us, was of course cancelled due to the corona measures. And this while the TakeOff of our new brand Easy Caravanning had just been named the number one trade fair innovation by Campingtrend at the market launch at the KCJ in October 2019.

“But we didn't throw in the towel. After the successful launch of the TakeOff 'First Edition' last year, our European distribution network has expanded considerably. In order to cope with the growing demand, we moved with Easy Caravanning to a larger assembly hall at the beginning of this year. At Holtkamper, new models of the top-of-the-range Kyte and the Cocoon were introduced. Besides several changes to the exterior of the trailer, the design of the Holtkamper tent was renewed with Hegge Industrial Design. Next year, this new design language will also be applied to the other Holtkamper models.”

As well as enjoying a boost in sales and interest in its innovative products, Campfire Group has plans to streamline its operation in order to make it more efficient and more profitable. Maarten added: “In 2022, we will also take the first steps towards the centralisation of our activities in the North of the Netherlands. Both teams of Holtkamper and Easy Caravanning will be merged at a new larger location in Emmen, ready for further growth. Joining our forces will give us enormous synergy benefits. This is vital for us to remain competitive and maintain our leading market position through continuous product innovation.”
