Jack Wolfskin targeting UK and Nordic growth with new leadership

German outdoor clothing and camping brand Jack Wolfskin has announced new leadership personnel in the UK and Nordic regions in alignment with its global growth strategy.

Steve Rosier (above, left) has been named as Jack Wolfskin’s country manager for the UK and Ireland, while Göran Bånge (above, right) has been named as the head of sales for Northern Europe Nordics. Steve has more than 30 years of experience in the outdoors industry including a role as senior sales manager and POD lead for Under Armour’s UK operations. He will be joined by Elizabeth Mapp, who has recently been named as the new marketing manager for Jack Wolfskin in the UK. Meanwhile, Göran has more than a decade of experience in the gold and outdoor industries – most recently he was key account manager for Peak Performance in the Nordic countries.

Richard Collier, Jack Wolfskin CEO, said: “Jack Wolfskin has a strong brand presence with eight Jack Wolfskin Stores and over 300 online and offline points of sale from retail partners in the region. With the new structure and leadership team in place, we will further establish the brand in our primary outdoor and lifestyle categories.”

“Göran’s highly-regarded reputation, deep market knowledge and established relationships with key accounts will be a significant benefit to Jack Wolfskin. The Nordic population with its strong outdoor orientation and connection to nature is a perfect environment for our brand. Through Göran’s leadership, we anticipate rapid sales growth in the coming months and years.”
