Jason Rano joins RV Industry Association
The United States’ RV Industry Association (RVIA) has strengthened its hand by appointing Jason Rano as its new vice president of government affairs. Jason has more than 18 years of experience directing, creating, and implementing successful legislative and regulatory initiatives at the local, states and federal levels in the United States and will be responsible for the management of six staff positions and multiple outside consultants in the new role.
Craig Kirby, the president and CEO of the RVIA, said: “Jason’s proven track record of success building bipartisan coalitions and engaging with administration officials, members of Congress, Congressional staff, committees, and key partners and stakeholders, make him the ideal leader for the RV industry’s efforts to move policy objectives on Capitol Hill and in state legislatures across the country. I couldn’t be more excited for Jason to lead the RV Industry Association’s talented and dedicated government affairs team.”
Jason joins the RV Industry Association from Rivian where he was the Senior Partnership Development Manager. In this role, he led Rivian’s efforts to deploy electric vehicle chargers on public lands through partnerships with public land agencies, non-profit partners, concessioners, utilities, and others. He said: “I'm thrilled to join the talented RV Industry Association team and look forward to working with the accomplished and committed government affairs team on behalf of our members in the halls of Congress and state houses across the country to ensure the industry continues to thrive.”
