Knaus Tabbert kicks off 2021 with multiple award wins

German leisure vehicle manufacturing giant Knaus Tabbert has kicked off 2021 in style by winning numerous industry awards for its brands and products.

Perhaps the most significant award was that of Best Overall Caravan Concept at the annual European Innovation Awards – an awards system voted for by 17 different trade magazines within the leisure vehicle arena. The CaraCito caravan by Knaus Tabbert brand Weinsberg was the recipient of the prize, and quite rightly so, being the brand’s first ever completely electric caravan. The caravan has not gas whatsoever and all the appliances inside are electric – including everything from the cooker to the heating and air conditioning. The CaraCito also features an eye-catching, modern design and an excellent price to performance ratio.

Elsewhere, Knaus Tabbert received many commendations in the König Kunde (or Customer is King) awards, voted for by readers of trade magazines Reisemobil International and Camping, Cars & Caravans. Specifically, the Tabbert brand won a total of five first place awards in the categories of living comfort, quality, travel comfort, design and overall winner of caravans evaluated. It also scored second place in the categories of customer loyalty, workshop and service. Knaus products were also well rewarded – with its products claiming second place in travel comfort and price-performance ratio categories. Knaus Tabbert’s premium brand Morelo managed to claim first place in quality, price-performance ratio, service and overall winner in the premium manufacturer category.

Knaus Tabbert CSO Gerd Adamietzki said: “Thank you very much. The European Innovation Award and the many placements awarded by King Customer are a great confirmation and incentive for our team to continue to inspire with many more innovative vehicles in the future. The Knaus Tabbert team as a whole is honoured and delighted.”
