More than 180 exhibitors confirmed for Barcelona show

Spain’s premiere camping and caravanning exhibition, the International Caravanning Show, is preparing for what organisers believe will be a memorable edition of the event when it takes place from 7 to 15 October in Barcelona this year. Organised by Fira de Barcelona and Spanish Caravanning Association Aseicar, the show already has more than 180 different exhibitors booked in, occupying halls three, four, and five of the Gran Via exhibition centre for the first time.

Brands signed up include: Adria, Benimar, Caravelair, Carthago, Comanche, Concorde, Dethleffs, Dreamer, Elnagh, Fendt, Ford, Frankia, FurgoK, Giottiline, Globecar, Hymer, Knaus, Illusion, Iveco, Laika, Mc Louis, Mercedes, Mobilvetta, Nissan, Pilote, Rapido, Rimor, Roller Team, Skoda, Sterckeman, Toyota, Westfalia, or Volkswagen, among many others.

Jose Manuel Jurado, president of Aseicar, said: “No brand wants to miss the celebration of Caravaning because it is the most important event for the industry in Spain and Southern Europe where a large part of the sales of the whole year are generated.”

Meanwhile, president of the International Caravanning Show and Gremcar, Susana Colom, added: “Visitors will be able to live a complete experience that will allow them to get to know the new vehicles of 2024, discover new accommodation, share routes and trips, as well as enjoy a varied gastronomic offer and family proposals.”

The motorhome area will once again be the largest, occupying Halls 3 and 4, where a wide range of caravans will also be on display.  While the camper van area will be the second largest, located in Hall 5 together with the offer linked to the camping and accessories sector.

In terms of activities, Caravaning 2023 will have 5 themed areas: Overland, where you can see a dozen camper vans; Destinations, which will bring together a complete range of campsites and glamping sites in Spain; Gastrovaning, the gastronomic tasting area; Travelvaning, with a programme of talks on routes and trips; and Caravaning Kids, the children's play area with various proposals for the whole family.
