Morelo plans production facility and showroom expansion

German luxury motorhome brand Morelo has announced plans to expand its production facilities and showroom to meet the growing demands of the booming leisure vehicle industry. The comprehensive expansion of its premises is designed to increase the company’s overall capacity to meet the ever-increasing demand for its products.

Morelo’s managing director Reinhard Löhner said: “In a timeframe of only eight months a new area of 4,350 m² is planned in two construction phases. We precisely know what we need and how to implement it. If somebody is able to do a project in this dimension in that amount of time, it is MORELO. As is known projects in extraordinary size are our specialty.”

 

What’s changing?

  • The existing Morelo production line will be expanded by 64 metres, which will encompass five new workstations.
  • There will be 23 generous workstations on a total of 285 metres of production line.
  • New pace will be made for both pabel and part production as well as the machine park.
  • On site showroom set to be expanded by another 675 sqm.
  • Work will begin on phase one in May 2021 and phase two in July 2021. Both phases are scheduled to finish in December 2021.
